A 19-year-old man with an Ashland address accused of threatening to shoot people at Ashland High School and Ashland police officers faces a fall trial.

Lucias A. Herron faces charges of making terrorist threats and battery or threat to a judge, prosecutor or law enforcement officer. He pleaded not guilty in April and is set for 12-person jury trial on Oct. 29.

In March, the Ashland Police Department was notified by the Department of Justice of a threat towards Ashland High School posted on Instagram by a Sasha Skunk.

“I’m gonna shoot up Ashland High School. I have a glock in my Ford Fusion. I’m gonna kill victim 1, victim 2 and victim 3. I’m gonna do it today,” the post made on March 18 said according to court documents.

Victim one was Ashland High School Principal Brain Trettin and the two others were Ashland police officers.

The DOJ analyst provided pictures located on the Instagram page that contained a male identified as Herron, who preferred to go by Sasha.

Herron was located in his Ford Fusion.
