IDAHO FALLS, ID - The Missoula PaddleHeads wrapped up their regular season slate with the Idaho Falls Chukars on Thursday night in the finale of a 3-game series. Offensive success paved the way for Missoula over the course of the first 2 games of the series highlighted by a team record run total of 25 runs Wednesday. In action on Thursday, the PaddleHeads would tally their lowest run total in the series. Idaho Falls also would score over 10 runs for the 3rd time in the series in the finale. At least one injured in crash involving motorcycle that's shut down Highway 91 on Fort Hall Reservation
At least one person suffered injuries in a Friday night crash that has shut down Highway 91 between Chubbuck and Fort Hall. The collision involving a motorcycle and other vehicle occurred around 9:30 p.m. on Highway 91 near Edmo Road on the Fort Hall Reservation. Ambulances from Pocatello and Fort Hall responded to the scene along with an emergency helicopter, which landed on the highway to transport one of the accident victims to the hospital. The crash shut down Highway 91 and it's unclear when the road will reopen. Idaho State Police, Fort Hall police and Bannock County sheriff's deputies also responded to the wreck. US Forest Service pilot hikes to safety after helicopter crash near wildfire that has shut down Redfish Lake recreation complex
The pilot of a helicopter that was responding to a small wildfire in central Idaho before crashing in the Sawtooth National Forest survived and was able to hike to a waiting ambulance, officials said. “Our pilot was on board and survived, and an investigation is underway,” U.S. Forest Service spokesperson Angela Hawkins said Friday morning.
