The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series made its first-ever appearance at Nebraska's Eagle Raceway on Monday with a 40-lap, $10,000-to-win event. Outlasting Ricky Thornton Jr. in a hotly contested battle to the finish, Hudson O'Neal led 32 of 40 laps to capture his first victory since joining SSI Motorsports last Tuesday. Thornton, making his second start with Koehler Motorsports, led laps five through 12 and finished second to O'Neal, 1.516 seconds behind.

Range Riders clinch Pioneer League postseason berth
BOISE, Idaho – The Glacier Range Riders (29-18) are going dancing for the first time in franchise history. With an 8-5 win on Saturday night over the Boise Hawks (24-23), the Range Riders clinched at least a tie for the second-best record in the first half of the Pioneer League. With one game to go and the tiebreaker being runs allowed, the Hawks would need to score at least 46 runs for a chance to flip the tiebreaker against the Range Riders. It is safe to say the Flathead Valley will see playoff baseball for the first time ever come September.

LEWISTON - Work to repair numerous road washouts, storm damage, and to make significant improvements to the Eagle Creek Road in Nez Perce County’s Craig Mountain Wildlife Management Area is complete and the road is fully available for use. The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) would like to thank the public for their patience while this much needed road update was undergoing construction. The public’s compliance with the temporary closure allowed construction crews to work efficiently and complete the project in a timely manner.
