Time Machine: 80 years ago, missing B-26 bomber found in Flat Tops
A flash flood washed away a small bridge in Gypsum and caused mudslides in other parts of Eagle County, the Vail Trail reported. “Though no one was injured, several homeowners said the high water spread over their lawns and seeped into basements, causing some damages,” the Trail reported. “At least two retaining walls near homes were washed away in the brief downpour. High water on Gypsum Creek also threatened to destroy a number of other bridges in town. Residents said a surge of water rose to a level even with the top of many bridges, and even lapped against the large Eagle Street bridge, but damaged only two bridges in town.”

Greeley, Colorado, Sees End of Historic Business and a Great Mural
You never know where you're going to find great art in Colorado; it could be along side of an old building, like you'll find in Greeley. Yes, the only thing constant is change, but it's still sad to see not only a wonderful mural go, but also a beloved bike shop.
New road site construction underway on Village at Avon property
There’s a lot of earth being moved on the Village at Avon property, located between East Beaver Creek Boulevard and Interstate 70 exits 167 and 168. The plan for the area includes an influx of more residential units to complement the Piedmont apartment complex on the east end of the property, but before that can be realized, the property must include a new road on the north end of the valley floor.

No surprises as Broncos put three players on PUP list
The Denver Broncos placed three players on the physically-unable-to-perform list in advance of training camp Sunday, and none of them were a surprise. None of the three players took part in on-field OTAs or minicamp. Sanders is expected to be out until midseason after tearing his Achilles during an April workout. Sterns missed the final 16 games of last season due to a torn patellar tendon suffered in Week 1. Turner-Yell suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament in Week 17 last year, and the relatively late date of that injury in the season could keep him on the sideline into the regular season.
