Woodman’s temporarily evacuated following suspicious fire in store bathroom
GRAND CHUTE – Investigators say a fire in a Woodmans bathroom that led to the temporary evacuation Friday of the Grand Chute grocery store is considered suspicious. According to a news release, the Grand Chute Fire Department was dispatched shortly after 4 p.m. Friday to Woodman’s Grocery Store for a report of a structure fire.
Sheriff’s office in northern Wisconsin holds active shooter training session at school district
(WFRV) – A northern Wisconsin County Sheriff’s Office notified the community that they would be holding an active shooter training at a school district. The Forest County Sheriff’s Office (FCSO) said that the training session would be conducted at Laona School District on Forest Avenue on Friday, as a way to prepare for any potential threat.

Casey Rabach Named Badgers Assistant Coach
Sturgeon Bay native and former college and pro football offensive lineman Casey Rabach has been named an assistant offensive line coach at the University of Wisconsin. Rabach joined the Badgers’ staff as a personnel assistant in 2022 before moving into the director of scouting role in the spring of 2023 and playing a key role in Wisconsin’s recruiting efforts.

Hundreds of millions of dollars spent on delivering internet service yet large gaps remain
