    ALEA identifies woman dead after wreck on Lucas Ferry Road

    LIMESTONE COUNTY, Ala. (WHNT) — The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA) has identified a woman killed in a wreck in Limestone County Thursday afternoon.

    ALEA identified the woman as 29-year-old Isenalande Senat, of Athens.

    Coroner Mike West said Thursday the two-vehicle wreck happened around 12:34 p.m. at the intersection of Lucas Ferry Road and Malone Road in Limestone County.

    He said one person, now identified as Senat was transported to Athens Hospital after the wreck where she was pronounced dead by an emergency department physician.

    ALEA said the wreck occurred when the Dodge Avenger was riding in was struck by a Dodge Ram. The agency said the driver of the Avenger and a passenger were both taken to Huntsville Hospital for treatment. ALEA said a five-year-old who was unrestrained in the Avenger was also injured and taken to a local hospital.

    The coroner said ALEA is investigating the wreck.
