A-CC Leisure Services looks for input on park plan

The Athens-Clarke County Leisure Services Department is looking for public input on what will be a new master plan. A feedback form is on the Athens-Clarke County government website and public forums are scheduled.

Athens-Clarke County Leisure Services is committed to improving the quality of life for all residents and visitors by providing a wide variety of leisure activities, facilities, and services that encourage health, fitness, relaxation, and enjoyment.

The master plan will prioritize options for upgrading aging infrastructure, strategically allocating capital dollars, address community and public concerns, balance requests from formal partner groups, and create a unified vision for the future—all while remaining flexible to new opportunities.
