Fairburn (Ga.) Langston Hughes 2026 four-star tight end Xavier Tiller is a name to know. He is one of the early priorities for Georgia in the junior class.
One of Tiller’s first offers was from Georgia. On June 15, one of the first messages Tiller got was one from Georgia tight end coach Todd Hartley .
Tiller and Hartley have quickly built a tight connection. The No. 71 overall prospect in the 2026 On3 Industry Rankings talks with Hartley almost daily.
Hartley has already locked up the class of 2025’s tight ends in five-star Elyiss Williams and four-star Ethan Barbour . It has allowed him to look toward Tiller as a key piece of the 2026 cycle.
For Tiller, the message has been clear.
“I probably talk to him every day,” Tiller said. “We’re on the phone talking and he tells me he wants me to be a Bulldog…It feels good, I’m just now getting the experience since I’m about to be a junior. It’s still really all new to me.”
Where does Georgia sit on Xavier Tiller’s board?
On3’s Recruiting Prediction Machine has Georgia as Tiller’s leader. The Bulldogs have a 30.8 percent chance of landing the four-star tight end.
Tiller’s teammate Dontrell Glover is a Georgia commit. A former Langton Hughes star Bo Hughley is already on Georgia’s roster.
Tiller has Georgia high on his own radar already.
“They’re top five,” Tiller said.
Tiller has a lot of interest in how Georgia uses the tight end position. He feels he can do a lot of the same things that Brock Bowers did in Georgia’s offense.
“I’ve always wanted to be a Bulldog,” Tiller said. “They like to win and I like to win. I don’t like to lose. They produce tight ends. Just look how many tight ends they’ve gotten to the draft. They also get the tight ends get to the ball…You saw how they used Brock (Bowers), they can use me just like that.”
