Georgia is not only getting back their starting quarterback from last season, but they also are getting back probably the best quarterback in all of college football, and with Carson Beck’s skill, experience, and determination that he’s shown by being patient and waiting his turn to be the guy at Georgia he now will most likely be the number one quarterback prospect in the 2025 NFL Draft, and The Morning Shift explained why earlier today.

Beau Morgan asked Mike Johnson and Tiffany Blackmon if at this point in time Carson Beck is the number one quarterback prospect in College Football, and they both agreed that there was no doubt he is.

“I think that there are people that will become intriguing along the way that’ll have crazy stats and I think you’ll see names like that pop up, but like I said it’s just like Caleb Williams to me as far as his draft stock goes at the end of the day it’s not even going to matter.” Johnson said

Tiffany called Beck “steady” and Beau piggybacked off of that saying “Of all the prospects he’s the one you can absolutely count on.”

The Morning Shift crew seems to be spot on with that sentiment, because while Quinn Ewers, Jalen Milroe, and Shedeur Sanders all look like nice prospects in their own right, none of them have had the consistency that Carson Beck has, and it will be hard for any NFL scout to pass up a quarterback that is talented, experienced, and has worked and has been willing to work, wait, and earn their spot like Beck has.

Carson Beck has the full package, and that’s why he’s the number one quarterback prospect in college football right now, and that’s why he could be the number one overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft.
