Georgia added their second commit in the class of 2026 in Jonesboro (Ga.) four-star cornerback Jontavius Wyman on Saturday.

The Bulldogs already have the pledge of four-star quarterback Jared Curtis . On3 has Wyman ranked higher than any other outlet in the industry.

He is the No. 93 overall prospect in the 2026 On3 Rankings. On3’s Industry Rankings have Wyman ranked as the No. 177 overall prospect.

What is Georgia getting in Jontavius Wyman?

The 6-foot, 160-pound playmaker chose Georgia over nearly 40 offers. Wyman played both ways for Jonesboro in 2023. Wyman was a quarterback as a freshman in 2022.

In 2022, Wyman rushed for 513 yards with four touchdowns and threw for 951 yards and five touchdowns.

Last season Wyman put up 37 receptions for 602 yards with seven touchdowns. Wyman had 37 tackles and five interceptions on defense last season.

Watching Wyman on tape brings up a few feeling words: ‘electric’ is the one this reporter has settled on.

Wyman has a knack for making plays. The four-star cornerback has straight-line speed that allows him to pull away in the open field when he has the football.

Wyman also uses his speed to make up ground in coverage. He can be seen running down balls in the air and leaping to make plays on what could have been a completion.

He’s got excellent twitch as well. He does everything with suddenness. Wyman is a willing tackler also despite weighing only 160 pounds at this point. He is just over 6 feet tall as of the latest measurements after his sophomore season.

He has tremendous upside as an athlete having played in the secondary for only one full season. Wyman’s quarterback background helps him diagnose things defensively as well.

This should he eventually sign with Georgia gives the Bulldogs a potential ball-hawking playmaker on the backend of their secondary.
