Georgia putting final touches on 2025 class, who’s next commit?

All Georgia eyes are now on five prospects when it comes to the class of 2025. The Bulldogs have racked up 22 commits in the 2025 class.

Atlanta (Ga.) Westlake four-star offensive lineman Juan Gaston landed with the Bulldogs on Friday night. Defensive lineman Jayden-Jamal Hanne committed to the Bulldogs on Monday of last week.

There is still more work to do in the class of 2025. Georgia lost the pledge of four-star linebacker Jadon Perlotte last week as well. Perlotte flipped his commitment to USC. There is now another spot that could be filled for Georgia.

The Bulldogs have five-star Zayden Walker committed already but there is likely a want to add to that room a little more this cycle.

Here are five names to watch in the coming weeks.

Who could be Georgia’s next commit?

4-star CB Jontae Gilbert

Skinny: Gilbert will decide on Aug. 10. Georgia has been battling NC State at the top for the former Ohio State commit. The Bulldogs have surged according to On3’s Recruiting Prediction Machine.

5-star DL Justus Terry

Skinny: The five-star defensive lineman from Manchester keeps making this list. He’s taking his time after spending a lot of his recruitment committed. Georgia and Alabama seem to be battling here. This could be coming to a close soon.

5-star DL Elijah Griffin

Skinny: Griffin recently cut his list of schools to three programs. Georgia was one of them and has been considered the lead team chasing the five-star. Griffin has been adamant about taking his time and working all the way down to the end but that has seemingly shifted a bit.

4-star OL Nick Brooks

Skinny: Brooks has moved back to the state of Georgia. He has long been a major target of the Bulldogs. Other programs like USC and Texas have become major contenders for the massive tackle. There hasn’t been a clear timeline set in place but Brooks has a narrowed focus and could make a decision at any time.

Flip targets 4-star EDGE Chase Linton (Rutgers) and 3-star LB Anthony Kruah (North Carolina)

Skinny: Georgia is working to flip the two metro Atlanta defenders after strong camps this summer. Both players are committed and have shown a lot of restraint and loyalty to their programs of choice. These are two names to monitor throughout the fall. Kruah took an official visit in the summer to Georgia. Linton has not done so yet.
