    Athens County Children Services Board will meet at 4 p.m. Monday at 14 Stonybrook Drive, Athens. For information, call Otis Crockron at (740) 592-3061.The Athens County Board of Revision is scheduled to meet in person at 10 a.m. Monday in the County Auditor’s Conference Room, First Floor, Courthouse Annex.Athens County Commissioners will meet at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday in the courthouse annex’s second-floor conference room.The Board of Trustees of the Ridges New Community Authority will hold an annual organizational meeting at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the USA Room 170 at 118 Ridges Circle, Athens, Ohio 45701. The agenda includes: (i) to conduct the annual organizational meeting of the Board; (ii) to conduct the regular business affairs of the Board; and (iii) to consider or act upon any other business as may properly come before the Board or any duly appointed committee of the Board.The Board of Education of the Federal Hocking Local School District will hold a Special Board meeting at 8 a.m. Aug. 1 at the Lodge at Hocking College, Nelsonville. The purpose of the meeting is an administrative retreat to discuss such things as Strategic Planning, Goals for the District and professional development. No action will be taken during this meeting.The Buckeye Hills Regional Council Executive Committee will meet at 11:30 a.m. Aug. 2 in the Buckeye Hills Regional Council office, 1400 Pike St., Marietta. The purpose of the meeting to is provide updates on projects throughout region. Questions regarding this meeting should be directed to Jenny Simmons at 740-376-1026 or jsimmons@buckeyehills.org.Scipio Township Trustees, Meigs County, will meet at 7 p.m. Aug. 7 in the Harrisonville Firehouse.The Athens County Commissioners, along with community leaders of the Stewart / Guysville area, will hold a public meeting at 6 p.m. Aug. 20 at Federal Valley Resource Center, 8225 State Route 329, Stewart. The meeting will be held to discuss the possibility of providing sanitary sewer to the area based on a study the commissioners completed and interest from area residents.The Sustainable Ohio Public Energy Council (SOPEC) will hold a General Assembly meeting at 6:30 p.m. Sept. 19 in the education building located at Possum Creek MetroPark, 4790 Frytown Road, Dayton. The purpose of this meeting is to present for consideration a revised budget, updates to governance documents, new personnel positions, community grants, and other related matters.
