OhioHealth to host free sports physical clinics June 12 and 19

OhioHealth physicians and medical providers are offering their time once again to help keep the student athletes of southeast Ohio healthy and ready to play.

Free sports physicals will be offered through OhioHealth O’Bleness Hospital Family Medicine this month by appointment only. To schedule, call (740) 249-4122.

Location:

• OhioHealth O’Bleness Hospital Family Medicine, 26 Hospital Drive, 2nd Floor, Athens, Ohio

Dates/times:

• Wednesday, June 12, 5 to 7 p.m.

• Wednesday, June 19, 5 to 7 p.m.

OhioHealth is offering this service at no charge to middle school and high school athletes who are not currently being treated for medical conditions that may affect their ability to participate in sports. Exams are used to screen for and detect medical or physical conditions that may put the student athlete at risk for future problems.
