TVA Board approves additional $150M in advanced nuclear funding
KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -On Friday, the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) Board of Directors announced that $150 million in additional advanced nuclear funding was approved to support continued design work on potential small modular reactors (SMRs) at its Clinch River site near Oak Ridge. It’s the latest announcement since the board also approved a rate increase.
