NBA Icon Drops Blunt Jaylen Brown Message After Alleged Bronny James Insult

The 2024 NBA Summer League has had its ups and downs, but unfortunately for Bronny James, it has been on a decline since the jump. Despite not scoring much in his debut, he showed a little promise, and people hadn't fully given up on him just yet.

That said, as the games continued, he disappointed further, and has been taking a lot of heat for it on social media. He's even taken heat from the reigning NBA Finals MVP, Jaylen Brown of the Boston Celtics, as he appeared to say that Bronny "isn't a pro".

After this criticism surfaced, NBA icon Gilbert Arenas sent a cold message to Brown, highlighting that he didn't get off to a much better start than Bronny has.

Even with how poor Bronny has played in the Summer League, Brown got off to an even worse start. If he really did mean to insult Bronny, it would be insanely disrespectful, and hypocritical.

Bronny isn't the only rookie to be playing poorly this season either, as Alex Sarr had an atrocious performance in his third outing. This is why the NBA Summer League is mainly a learning experience.
