The USA men’s basketball team cruised to a 122-87 quarterfinal win over Brazil on Tuesday, but many were holding their breath after star forward LeBron James took an elbow to the face and had to leave the game.

Team USA head coach Steve Kerr updated reporters after the game of James’ status, noting he received four stitches near his left eye. All signs point to James’ injury not being too serious.

James immediately clutched his eye and fell to the ground after getting struck by Brazil's Georginho de Paula. He stayed on the bench for a few moments before heading to the locker room for further evaluation.
