Skip Bayless Threat: 'I'll Punch You in The (Bleeping) Face!' Cris Carter Reveals Truths

We have made the point here often, as we've known Skip Bayless personally since 1990, that to know the despicable and dishonest shock jock is to dislike him.

Now that he's been fired from FS1 and his show Undisputed , truths are being told.

Enter Pro Football Hall of Famer Cris Carter. ... and his threat, following Carter's appearance on Bayless' old ESPN show, to the cockroach conman.

“I told him, ‘I’ll never be on your show again, and if you ever say anything like that to me again, I’ll punch you right in the f***ing face,’” Carter said.

What happened? Same ol' Skip.

The panel was discussing Tim Tebow, and Carter - the former Eagles and Vikings superstar who unlike Bayless actually knows something about the sport - criticized Tebow's ability as a thrower.

And the retort from Bayless (who was pretending to have insight into Tebow's talent)?

"That,'' Bayless said, "that’s why you didn’t win a Super Bowl.''

It was nonsense, of course. And it was mean-spirited.

Carter's career accomplishments are monumental. speak for themselves. One of the greatest wideouts in the history of the game, he has 1,101 receptions, 13,899 receiving yards, and 130 touchdowns. He was inducted into the NFL Hall of Fame in 2013.

Bayless' career accomplishments? Advertisers and audiences handed him a pile of money, but a scam that went away as he's been increasingly discovered as a sour fraud.

"I’m gonna be honest with you,'' Carter said in review of all of this. "Skip Bayless was not one of my favorite people."
