Rich Eisen is Turning Heads with Top-10 Clutch NFL QBs in 2024

There are plenty of talented quarterbacks in the NFL right now. However, when the game is on the line, who would you want under center? Popular sports analyst, Rich Eisen, took the time to name his top-10 clutch quarterbacks in the league right now.

During his latest episode of The Rich Eisen Show , Eisen turned heads by naming 10 quarterbacks in the league he feels are the most clutch. There are arguably a couple of snubs from Eisen's list but at the end of the day he made his picks well-known for the upcoming season.

Eisen started his list from No. 10 and worked his way down to No. 1. Now, it's important to keep in mind that the criteria for this list is that these are the quarterbacks Eisen wants the most in clutch time. There is certainly some wiggle room for debate.

The order in which Eisen has his quarterbacks ranked from 10 to one are as follows; Jalen Hurts, Justin Herbert, Jared Goff, CJ Stroud, Aaron Rodgers, Lamar Jackson, Joe Burrow, Matthew Stafford, Josh Allen, and Patrick Mahomes. Eisen couldn't help but give Mahomes his flowers considering he's aiming for his fourth career Super Bowl win this upcoming season.

"Give me Josh Allen with the game on the line. Unless you can give me Patrick Mahomes. And you knew he'd be No. 1 on the list. Do I even need to say, I mean. You don't even need to say it. Patrick Mahomes. He's No. 1 in every freakin metric."

Eisen does admit that he did have some snubs on his list though. Brock Purdy and Tua Tagovailoa were both name-dropped in the clip. An argument can be made for both quarterbacks but Eisen feels neither of them have done enough to make his top-10 quarterback power rankings.

Mahomes has been a phenomenal talent since taking over as the starting quarterback in Kansas City. He does things with the football that keeps opposing defenses guessing. Last season Mahomes racked up an impressive 4,128 passing yards, 27 touchdowns, a 67.2 completion percentage, and 14 interceptions.

The Chiefs are in position to win their third consecutive Super Bowl in a row. It's a feat never done before in NFL history. Not only could Mahomes earn his fourth career Super Bowl ring but he could potentially mark Kansas City in the record books. Mahomes and his team open up the regular season on September 5 against the Baltimore Ravens.
