Patrick Mahomes Posts Simple Reaction to Team USA's Comeback Win Over Serbia

The United States men's basketball team survived a semifinal scare on Thursday, coming back from 17 points down to beat Nikola Jokic and Serbia for a spot in the Olympic gold medal final.

Team USA trailed by 13 points heading into the fourth quarter, but some late-game heroics from some of the game's biggest stars ultimately resulted in a 95-91 victory for the Americans.

Steph Curry dropped 36 points on 9/14 shooting from behind the three-point arc. LeBron James recorded a triple-double with 16 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assists.

American fans, including Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, were understandably thrilled by this comeback.

Mahomes took to social media with a simple reaction to the win, posting three American flag emojis on X.

Joel Embiid also played an integral role in the American's comeback win. The Philadelphia 76ers center recorded 19 points on 8-11 shooting from the field, trailing only Curry in points scored for Team USA.

The United States are now heading to the gold medal game for a matchup against Victor Wembanyama and host-country France on Saturday.
