Steph Curry, LeBron James Go Viral With Iconic Postgame Celebration

The United States men's basketball team avoided disaster on Thursday, fighting back from 17 points down to beat Nikola Jokic and Serbia in the Olympic semifinals.

Team USA's comeback was catalyzed by a stunning performance from Golden State Warriors point guard Steph Curry, who scored 36 points on 9/14 shooting from behind the three-point arc.

LeBron James also played a crucial role down the stretch, getting a couple much-needed buckets for the United States in the fourth quarter. The King notched a triple-double, recording 16 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assists.

When the final whistle sounded, the score read 95-91 in favor of the Americans.

LeBron and Curry, longtime friends and rivals in the NBA, met on the court for an iconic postgame celebration.

Curry had scored 29 points total leading up to Thursday's semifinal matchup. But with his three-point explosion against Serbia, the all-time great shooter came just one point shy of Carmelo Anthony's all-time single-game scoring record of 37.

Curry, LeBron and Team USA will face off against Victor Wembanyama and host-country France in the gold medal game on Saturday.
