Team USA Sends Strong Message To LeBron James

While it was Steph Curry who stole the show with his 36-point eruption in Thursday's 95-91 semifinal win against Serbia, fellow Team USA star LeBron James also turned in an incredible performance against Nikola Jokic and Co.

The Los Angeles Lakers talisman logged only the fourth triple-double in Olympic history after amassing 16 points, 12 rebounds, and 10 assists in 32 minutes of action. This prompted a strong message from Team USA after James helped lead the squad to a berth in the final.

"If you come for the king, you best not miss. 👑" Team USA wrote on X, formerly Twitter.

Thanks to Thursday's hard-fought win, the Americans will now advance to the gold medal game on Saturday. They are set to face Victor Wembanyama and the French national squad, who despite being underdogs, will have a significant advantage while playing on home soil.

You can be sure, however, that LeBron James will do everything in his power to ensure victory on Saturday, en route to bagging what will potentially be his third Olympic gold medal and his fourth overall.
