Lamb Responds To Jerry's 'No Urgency' Message

CeeDee Lamb, when it comes to his desire for a contract extension, has been a man of few words - a fact rarely made more clear than on Thursday evening when he took notice of Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones insisting that he feels "no urgency'' to get a deal done with a three-letter tweet.

" LOL.'' Lamb wrote.

“I don’t have any urgency to get it done,'' Jones said to the media at training camp, a potentially incendiary approach to the sensitive dealings that are ongoing between the two parties.

The contract dispute between the Cowboys and Lamb was, per the Cowboys' own deadline, supposed to be solved by the start of camp.

But the star receiver vowed that he will not show up to training camp without a new contract extension, and his holdout has now pushed its way into its third week.

The Cowboys say he wants to be the highest paid non-quarterback in the league - with our belief that we're talking about a four-year contract approaching $35 million APY.
