EA's much-anticipated release of College Football 25 has come and gone, and with that comes countless experiments on different scenarios in the college football sphere. Fox Sports has taken advantage of that new possibility and run a whopping 50 simulations of the 2024 season to see who would be crowned the national champion, and Utah joined the lucky few.

In Fox's simulation , a mere 15 teams won the national championship in their 50 different simulations of the 2024 season, and Oregon came out on top winning 18 times followed by Michigan (7), Ohio State (5), Georgia (4), Clemson, Texas A&M, NC State, Utah, and OK-State all tied with 2, and Notre Dame, Ole Miss, Boston College, App State, Virginia Tech, and Florida all stumbled upon 1 trophy.

While this is all based on a video game sim engine, it is still interesting to see what outcomes could potentially come to fruition this season despite some of the rather unrealistic programs that are a part of the "prestigious" grouping.

Utah and Oklahoma State are the only Big 12 programs on the list, and both ended up winning the natty twice, so according to EA Sports, Utah currently has a 4% chance of making it all the way and bringing home the coveted silverware in 2024.
