Patriots Rookie' Joe Milton Trending After Epic Scramble And Run

The New England Patriots didn't just draft Drake Maye at quarterback; they also drafted former Michigan and Tennessee product Joe Milton .

Milton was selected in the sixth round, while Maye was 3rd overall in the first. Nontheless, Milton is the one who's trending Thursday night in the Patriots preseason opener after some epic plays. One being a scramble and run after escaping pressure and extending the play behind the line of scrimmage.

Outside of this play, Milton also connected on a 38-yard touchdown pass to JaQuae Jackson in the fourth quarter. He ended the night 4/6 for 54 yards and a touchdown, while adding two rushes for 25 yards on the ground.

The Patriots went on to win 17-3 and will head into preseason week two with some interesting storylines. Currently, New England has four quarterbacks on the roster and will need to figure out who makes it and who doesn't.
