Steph Curry Jokes About LeBron and Bronny's Historic Team-Up

When the Los Angeles Lakers selected Bronny James with the No. 55 overall pick in the 2024 NBA Draft, the team formed the first father-son duo in NBA history.

LeBron's USA Basketball teammate Steph Curry was recently asked to weigh in with his thoughts on this historic achievement. The 36-year-old point guard delivered a hilarious answer in response.

Curry's eldest son, Canon, is only six years old. If he wanted to follow in his father's footsteps, he wouldn't be NBA draft eligible until 2037.

“If they could set up a chair in the corner, and I only play offense,” Curry told GQ Sports in a recent interview. “I only shoot corner threes.”

Curry and LeBron played a massive role in Team USA's comeback win over Serbia in the Olympic semifinals on Thursday.

Curry came just one point shy of Carmelo Anthony's all-time single-game scoring record, dropping 36 points on 9/14 shooting from behind the three-point arc.

LeBron notched an Olympic triple-double, recording 16 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assists.

Curry, LeBron and Team USA will face off against Victor Wembanyama and host-country France at 3:30 p.m. ET on Saturday.
