Bogdan Bogdanovic Embraces Carmelo Anthony

AUG 10 RESPECT FROM ONE OLYMPIC BALLER TO ANOTHER Bogdan Bogdanovic is on the list of basketball players Carmelo Anthony respects. Although Serbia lost to Team USA despite holding a 17-point lead, Bogdanovic exploded for 20 points. During the highly-contested match, Bogdanovic gestured toward the New York Knicks legend with the three-point sign to the head celebration.

Following the loss, Anthony utilized Instagram to show his respect for the Serbian guard. Serbia didn't leave the Paris Olympics empty-handed, though. Thanks to Nikola Jokic's triple-double performance, Serbia won bronze by beating Germany 93-83. Immediately after the win, Anthony and Bogdanovic embraced.

AUG 9 RIHANNA HAS STYLE Rihanna is a music superstar and the ultimate fashionista. It's only fitting she saw the beauty in a throwback New York Knicks jersey while vacationing in her native Barbados. Rihanna enjoyed her time on the beach wearing a Patrick Ewing jersey.

Although Jalen Brunson and Carmelo Anthony are the two most recent famous Knicks, Ewing has the most success in the blue and orange jersey. Rihanna could have worn a Brunson jersey, but her fashion decision made a clear statement.

AUG 8 CURRY COMES CLOSE Team USA just defeated Serbia to advance to the gold medal game against France, and they did it behind some stellar play from Golden State Warriors' star Stephen Curry.

He scored 36 points on 12-19 shooting from the field, and he made an absurd nine three-pointers while missing just five.

This performance came up just one point short of New York Knicks legend Carmelo Anthony's single-game Team USA scoring record of 37. Curry and the rest of the team will be playing in the gold medal game on Saturday against Victor Wembanyama and Team France.
