A'ja Wilson and Team USA are biding their time before facing off against host nation France in the women's basketball Olympic gold medal game on Sunday.

How did they spend Saturday afternoon? Like so many other Americans on the ground in Paris, back at home and around the globe, by watching the U.S. Women's National Team make history.

The USWNT beat Brazil 1-0 in the women's soccer gold medal match on Saturday, with Mallory Swanson's slick finish in the 57th minute off a lead ball from Korbin Albert proving the ultimate difference.

Wilson sent Swanson, Sophia Smith and company congratulations for becoming the U.S. women's side to take Olympic gold since 2012, adding some French flair .

The USWNT went undefeated in France, never trailing in any of its six games. No country boasts more Olympic golds in women's soccer than the United States' five.

Wilson, meanwhile, leads an even more dominant American team into Sunday's final against the French. Team USA has won all of its five games by at least 13 points at the Olympics, including a 21-point beatdown of Australia on Friday in the semifinal.

Don't be surprised if Wilson and her teammates receive similar congratulations from the USWNT once the final buzzer for Sunday's game sounds.

Team USA and France tipoff from Bercy Arena at 9:30 a.m. (EST).
