Angel Reese's Reaction to Masai Russell's Gold Medal Victory in 100m Hurdles Says It All

Angel Reese was amazed by Masai Russell's performance in the Paris Olympics.

Russell achieved a major milestone in her career by securing her first Olympic gold medal in the women's 100-meter hurdles final.

She secured the victory with a time of 12.33 seconds, narrowly missing her personal best by less than a tenth of a second. Cyrena Samba-Mayela followed closely, finishing just one-hundredth of a second after Russell. Jasmine Camacho-Quinn, the current Olympic champion, claimed the bronze with a time of 12.36 seconds.

Discovering her victory ended in such close fashion, Russell pumped her fists, let out a scream, and sprinted down the track in jubilation. Losing in the way she did, Samba-Mayela wept on the track, and Camaco-Quinn offered her consolation.

Reese took to social media to express her excitement towards Russell's victory, giving immense praise to the U.S. hurdler.

"MASAI RUSSELL. YOU DESERVE THIS! DEYALED NOT DENIED!! CONGRATS QUEEN!" Reese said.

No doubt that Reese was proud to see Russell come away the win in the event, showing that the future that awaits the U.S. hurdler in the Olympics and major competitions is bright.
