LeBron James has been announced as the 2024 men's basketball Olympic MVP following Team USA's victory over France in the gold medal game.

James helped lead Team USA to a 98-87 victory with 14 points, 10 assists, and six rebounds.

He previously helped the United States secure a spot in the gold medal game, notching just the fourth triple-double in Olympic history in the team's 95-91 win over Nikola Jokic and Serbia with 16 points, 12 rebounds, and 10 assists.

The Los Angeles Lakers star helped keep the United States on top of the men's basketball Olympic world, earning their fifth straight gold medal, dating back to the 2008 Beijing Games.

The 39-year-old was tested in the matchup, competing against NBA talent like Victor Wembanyama and Rudy Gobert.

For much of the Olympic Games, James played in the starting lineup with Devin Booker, Stephen Curry, Joel Embiid, and Jrue Holiday. The Boston Celtics guard was the interchangeable piece in the lineup, being plugged in and out for guys like Jayson Tatum and Kevin Durant.

LeBron James now adds to his Olympic accolades, having won a bronze medal in the 2004 Olympic Games and a gold medal in the 2008 and 2012 Olympic Games.
