Stephen Curry was a man on a mission in the Olympic Final, as his fourth-quarter efforts pushed Team USA over France. After scoring 19 points in the final three minutes of the game, Curry was praised by fans around the world.

But immediately after winning the gold medal, Curry hopped on an Instagram Live feed for a quick minute. It featured an elated Anthony Edwards, as the two USA stars celebrated the win. Additionally, Kevin Durant popped up in the final seconds of the clip praising Curry.

The video was reshared on X , formerly known as Twitter soon after the live feed was cut. Since being posted on X, the clip has seen nearly 600,000 views, 50,000 likes, and 10,000 reposts in just 20 minutes. Those numbers will likely continue growing.

The shot Edwards mentions was the dagger that sealed the win over France. Curry was deep behind the three-point line with two defenders (Evan Fournier and Nicolas Batum) in his face. While fading away, the superstar guard nailed the three, extending the USA's lead to 96-87 with just over 30 seconds remaining in the game. The arena roared after Curry hit the clutch shot.

Curry finished the Olympic Final with 24 points, two steals, and five assists. He shot 8-13 from the three-point line. The superstar guard seemed to struggle a bit in the first three quarters after turning the ball over five times. But he turned it on in the final three minutes to elevate the USA to a gold medal win.

Team USA had some hiccups through the Paris Olympics but they prevailed in the end. LeBron James was a monster throughout, leading the team in points (14.2 per game), rebounds (6.8 per game), and assists (8.5 per game). James was also named the Olympic MVP for men's basketball.

This victory marks the fifth consecutive time the USA won the gold medal in men's basketball. The last time the U.S. didn't win the gold medal was in 2004 when they won bronze. In that year, Argentina won gold while Italy took home silver. This is Curry's only gold medal win, as he can now add that to his impressive list of career accolades.

The superstar guard adds a gold medal with his four NBA Championships, two MVP awards, and Finals MVP award. He's also a 10x NBA All-Star and holds the current record for most three-pointers made in league history. Curry is known for changing the way basketball is played, as nearly everyone in the NBA is a capable shooter now.
