The video was reshared on X , formerly known as Twitter soon after the live feed was cut. Since being posted on X, the clip has seen nearly 600,000 views, 50,000 likes, and 10,000 reposts in just 20 minutes. Those numbers will likely continue growing.

The shot Edwards mentions was the dagger that sealed the win over France. Curry was deep behind the three-point line with two defenders (Evan Fournier and Nicolas Batum) in his face. While fading away, the superstar guard nailed the three, extending the USA's lead to 96-87 with just over 30 seconds remaining in the game. The arena roared after Curry hit the clutch shot.

Curry finished the Olympic Final with 24 points, two steals, and five assists. He shot 8-13 from the three-point line. The superstar guard seemed to struggle a bit in the first three quarters after turning the ball over five times.
