Stephen Curry has always been a marvel to watch, and he showed exactly why on Saturday during Team USA's gold medal win against France at the 2024 Olympics.

With less than a minute remaining in the fourth quarter and Team USA just six points ahead of the home team, the Golden State Warriors sharpshooter took matters into his own hands to ensure that France wouldn't be able to come back.

Despite being tightly guarded by French stars and NBA players Evan Fournier and Nicolas Batum, Curry wasn't bothered at all and delivered an insane triple to make the score 96-87 with 34.6 seconds left.

A new courtside angle of Curry's shot has since emerged , showing just how tough the shot was. The Team USA guard had little space to make something happen, but that's all he needed.

It was Curry's eighth triple of the game, and it sealed the game for the Americans. A Devin Booker dunk capped it off, as Team USA secured the 98-87 victory and the gold medal.

Sure enough, fans were simply in awe of Curry's performance, particularly his final clutch shot.

"GREATEST OLYMPIC DAGGER in Olympic basketball history," a fan said. Another hyped supporter shared, "Greatest shooter to ever live."

"By far one of his greatest moments!!!" a social media user added. A commenter added, "Man was out of this world."

A fifth fan could only say, "INSANE."

Stephen Curry finished the contest with a team-high 24 points on 8-of-13 shooting. He also had five assists and two steals.

While Curry didn't win MVP—the award went to LeBron James who was consistent throughout the competition—no one can deny that he's the biggest reason Team USA beat France to win gold.
