LeBron James' Wife Sends Simple Message After Team USA Gold

LeBron James added to his incredible basketball legacy on Saturday, winning a gold medal in the men's basketball Paris Olympic final against France.

Following the 98-87 victory over France, James' wife, Savannah James, reposted a photo of Lebron repping the United States. LeBron held up his jersey with the U.S.A. across his chest, and Savannah commented with red, white, and blue hearts, as well as the No. 1 gold medal trophy emoji.

Savannah has been quick to support LeBron during his Olympic run, constantly reposting photos of his accomplishments on social media.

With the gold medal victory, James earned another medal in his Olympic career. He previously won gold medals in 2008 and 2012 and a bronze medal in 2004.

During the victory over France, James recorded 14 points, 10 assists, and six rebounds. He was accompanied by NBA veterans Kevin Durant and Stephen Curry as the leaders on the Team USA roster.

Curry finished the victory with a team-high 24 points, shooting 8-13 from the field. Durant had a successful night as well, posting 15 points and four rebounds.

LeBron James continues to establish himself as one of the greatest players in basketball history, and his Savannah has been right by his side throughout his entire journey .

The 39-year-old was drafted into the NBA in 2003, and the two started their romantic relationship while James was wreaking havoc at St. Vincent–St. Mary High School. LeBron was a 17-year-old junior, while Savannah was a 16-year-old sophomore.

Their relationship has taken them through numerous NBA titles, NBA MVP awards and Olympic gold medals.
