Team USA is your world champions once again! The American men's basketball squad took an early lead over France in the gold medal game and refused to relinquish it in the game. It took a massive effort from the big three of LeBron James, Kevin Durant, and Stephen Curry to put away the French.

Now, Team USA is taking a victory lap on social media. Durant, though, used this opportunity to take a shot at another NBA player. See, after Germany's loss to Serbia in the bronze-medal game, Dennis Schroder had this to say.

"European basketball is no entertainment, it's straight IQ basketball. Straight coaching," Schroder said.

So, of course, after USA clinched their fifth straight gold in the Olympics, Durant took a shot at Schroder with his caption.

Durant, who started for the first time in this Olympics against France, had a solid game. He scored 15 points on 5-of-12 shooting, including three triples. Usually the main hub on offense, Durant took a backseat to James and Curry.

It was the latter who stole the show in the Olympics. Building off his flawless game against Serbia, Curry poured in 24 points on eight triples against France. In a familiar sight for NBA fans, the star drained an impossible three in the fourth quarter to ice the game.

It's not clear yet whether this Olympics will be Durant's last hurrah. By the time the 2028 LA Olympics rolls around, he would be 39 years old If this is the end of his Olympic career, then he ends it as perhaps the greatest in history. His four gold medals and scoring record is unmatched by anyone in history.
