The United States men's basketball team defeated France in the gold medal game on Saturday, and the women's team will look to do the same on Sunday. Unbeaten in the 2024 Paris Olympics, USA Basketball has been perfect on both the men's and women's side.

This dominance from the women's team has quieted some of the noise about their decision to leave Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark off the roster, but the star rookie was still asked about that during an appearance on the New York Yankees broadcast.

Asked if she is still able to watch Team USA after being snubbed from the roster, Clark gave an answer similar to one she has given in the past.

"I've watched," Clark said. "I just love international basketball. I think it's so different. And you also watch the men, it's very different from how the NBA is played... I think it gives you something to work for, and obviously it's a tough turnaround. I only played 10 games in the WNBA before they picked the roster."

Clark continued, adding her thoughts on the Team USA roster.

"That team is so talented," Clark added. "I think the USA on the women's side is just so dominant. They play tomorrow for the gold medal, and I really don't see them having any trouble winning. I think it just shows how advanced our country is in women's basketball.. It's definitely something for me to work for in 2028."

If the next few years of her career are anything like her rookie season has been, Clark is a lock for the 2028 roster in Los Angeles.
