Mallory Swanson is on top of the world. The US Women's National Team star gave the US their first women's soccer gold in eight years in their match against Brazil. Finishing as the top scorer for the USWNT in the Olympics, Swanson etched her name in sports history.

However, it seems not everyone has gotten the memo about her yet. Swanson's husband, former All-Star shortstop Dansby Swanson, was being featured in his MLB game between the Chicago Cubs and Chicago White Sox. After Swanson recorded his 1,000th career hit, they wanted to celebrate the power couple.

They procured a graphic showing the Swanson couple with their achievements today. There's just one problem, though. Fox did not show Mallory Swanson in the graphic. Instead, they used an image of Swanson's USWNT teammate Sophia Smith.

That's a brutal mistake to make. USWNT fans were obviously not happy with the error. After all, it was Mallory Swanson's big day, and yet they still confused her with one of her teammates.

Other fans hilariously pointed out the comments defending Dansby, failing to realize the true error in the graphic.

"Can we be for real please @ tv producers, not hard to put the right picture in a graphic," @jnordhoffbeard said.

For what it's worth, FOX did eventually catch their mistake and corrected the graphic accordingly.

Swanson scored her fourth goal of the Olympics in the 57th minute of the gold medal game. Korbin Albert's through ball to Swanson was perfect, but Smith had to get out of the way to make sure she wasn't called for off-sides. The striker won the one-on-one against the Brazilian keeper and sealed the game with an easy finish.

From there, the USWNT held off the Brazilian attack at every moment. Goalkeeper Alyssa Naeher made multiple crucial saves in the second half to keep the score at 1-nil.

It's a triumphant return to action for Swanson, who is returning from a brutal knee injury she suffered last year. She brings home the USWNT's fifth gold medal and the first since their 2012 win over Japan in the London Olympics.
