The Tampa Bay Buccaneers controlled the Cincinnati Bengals through much of the second half, but quarterback Logan Woodside opened things up late in the game on a deep touchdown pass.

The Bengals third stringer found Jermaine Burton on a 37-yard pass, putting the home team back in front 14-10 with 3:33 left in the game.

Woodside's dart gave Cincinnati its first lead since Bucs running back Bucky Irving evened affairs with a five-yard touchdown run at 1:35 in the first quarter.

Burton clipped his defender on a go-route down the left side, allowing Woodside to drop the pass in the bucket for the go-ahead score.

Before that possession, the Bucs' defense had held firm after the opening possession of the game. Joe Burrow, with the help of some expected Bengals' first-teamers, bullied the Bucs down the field on the first drive of the game.

The team's franchise quarterback then connected with Tee Higgins on a 10-yard touchdown, but that marked the end of the Cincinnati offense's success for a significant stretch of the game.

Some of those woes came from missed kicks on the special teams' side, an ailment both teams dealt with. But to the Bucs' credit, its defense had mostly found its stride in the contest and had slowly gained momentum up to that point.
