Browns BREAKING: Deshaun Watson Cleared for Full Contact

Cleveland Browns QB Deshaun Watson is about to take another major step in his hoped-for return to where he once was.

The physical part of his return is a key, and he has now been cleared for full contact, coach Kevin Stefanski announced on Sunday.

So ... as per one report's wording, Watson will get the “vast majority” of reps in this week's joint practices with the Minnesota Vikings.

Last season, the Browns started off 5-1 with Watson before his season was cut short with season-ending shoulder surgery.

This year, he is 100-percent healthy and ready to lead the Browns to the playoffs. ... Something that backup quarterback Jameis Winston believes as well.

“If you think that Deshaun Watson has a lesser expectation than all the fans or all of you have of him, then you’re shortchanging yourself because he has high expectations,” Winston stated. “He wants to be and will be a Super Bowl-winning quarterback. And honestly, that’s what I’m here for, because I guarantee you, I’m feeding that into him.”

Winston believes that if enough positivity is fed into Watson, it will propel him to great things.

“I’m making sure that he knows that and he really don’t need my help because he has it,” Winston continued. “He already has possessed that.”
