Although Dallas Mavericks superstar Luka Doncic wasn't able to participate in the 2024 Paris Olympics due to Slovenia's failure to qualify, it's a safe bet that he was pulling for his good friend Nikola Jokic, who helped lead Serbia to a bronze medal on Saturday in a win over Germany.

During that match, Jokic recorded his first Olympic triple-double with 19 points, 12 rebounds, and 11 assists while shooting 7-15 from the floor in the 93-83 win. Jokic is no stranger to notching triple-doubles, as he's currently fourth in NBA history with 130 of them.

However, getting a triple-double in Olympic play is a whole different animal. Jokic joined his buddy Doncic, along with Team USA star LeBron James and USSR's Alexander Belov, as the only players to ever record a triple-double in the Olympics. Of those four players, James is the only one to have multiple Olympic triple-doubles (2).

James is fifth on the NBA's all-time triple-double list, and Doncic, despite being just 25 years old, is tied for eighth, needing just two more to pass Wilt Chamberlain and 21 more to pass Mavs legend and current head coach Jason Kidd.

Jokic and Serbia gave James and Team USA a scare in the Olympic semifinals, as they led by 13 points in the fourth quarter before Team USA stormed back and ultimately won, 95-91. Serbia went on to win the bronze medal against Germany, and Team USA went on to win its fifth consecutive gold medal against Victor Wembanayam and France.
