Ravens Coach Gives Significant Update On Kyle Hamilton's Leg Injury

Baltimore Ravens safety Kyle Hamilton suffered a left leg injury during their practice on Sunday, according to ESPN's Jamison Hensley.

Hensley reported on X that Hamilton fell to the ground when he tried to contest a pass. There was no clear indication of any contact. The All-Pro First Team member, however, was able to walk off the field by himself.

After practice, Ravens coach John Harbaugh talked to reporters and addressed concerns about Hamilton's status.

"He looks stable, he looks good," Harbaugh said. "Obviously, we'll continue to do some tests tonight and tomorrow to make sure. But first indications are he's fine."

The 23-year-old Hamilton had an impressive sophomore campaign last season, earning a nod to the Pro Bowl. He played in 15 games and collected 81 tackles, three sacks, four interceptions and a defensive touchdown.

He helped the Ravens to a 13-4 record and advance to the AFC Championship Game for the first time in over a decade, losing to eventual Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs.

The Ravens dropped their first preseason game after losing to the Philadelphia Eagles last Friday, 16-13. Hamilton sat out the matchup.

Harbaugh, meanwhile, also expressed optimism about the return of wide receiver Rashod Bateman, who exited practice last Monday due to a suspected injury.

“I don’t want to speak for him but I think he’s right there,” Harbaugh said, as also reported by Hensley.

The Ravens will host the Atlanta Falcons on August 17.
