Series Preview: Boston Red Sox to Take On Texas Rangers in 3-Game Home Set

The Boston Red Sox got swept by the Houston Astros at home over the weekend, marking the second time they have been swept during the second half of the season.

The Red Sox remain home for a three-game series against the Texas Rangers at Fenway Park beginning tonight.

The Rangers come into this series after dropping two games of a shortened series against the New York Yankees on the road.

The Rangers currently sit at 55-63 on the season, 24-36 in away games and third place in the AL West, 7.5 games behind the Astros and Seattle Mariners who are tied for first place.
