Following the Women's Team USA gold medal victory over France for the gold medal the 2024 Paris Olympics ended historically. Not only did Team USA win its eighth consecutive gold medal, but it also achieved 61 consecutive victories. However, Diana Taurasi and Brittney Griner will be enjoying retirement in four years. Team USA will need to recruit new members.

Caitlin Clark is an obvious candidate for the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics. However, to help A'ja Wilson in the frontcourt, Indiana Fever's Aliyah Boston makes sense for Team USA.

One of Boston's fans asked her on social about her playing in the 2028 Olympics, and the Fever sophomore forward responded accordingly.

"That's the goal for 2028!! Whatever God has for me will happen," Boston said on Instagram.

Boston averages 14 points on an efficient 41 percent from behind the three-point line. Earning two all-star appearances in her first two seasons, the Fever forward is primed for a decorated career.

Aside from the celebrated offensive feats, Boston's defense will add to Wilson's dominance. Boston finished the 2023 season with the seventh-most blocks in the WNBA and is fourth in the 2024 campaign. Team USA's defense will dramatically improve, adding Boston to the 2028 roster.

In four years, Clark and Boston may transform the Fever into a formidable opponent, making them the two prime candidates to help lead the new generation of Team USA.
