Los Angeles Dodgers superstar Mookie Betts wasted no time making his presence felt in the batters box, homering in just his 2nd at bat back from a fractured left hand that has held him out since June 16th.

The Dodgers are currently 69-49 and 1st in the NL West, in line to clinch another playoff berth, and the expectations are higher than they've ever been before for Dave Roberts and his ball club.

The roster is flooded with talent up and down, and after bringing in one of the game's best, Shohei Ohtani , the expectations became World Series or bust.

Prior to Betts injury, he was having an MVP-level season and now looks to continue that success. Entering Monday night, Betts was hitting .304/.488/.893 with a .405 OBP in 72 games.

Betts brings more to the table than just his offensive skill set. He is an elite defender and can play anywhere on the field. However, Roberts is easing him back in right field for the time being after playing shortstop for most of the season.
