Former Tampa Bay Buccaneers defensive lineman Jason Pierre-Paul is currently a free agent. The 35-year-old, two-time Super Bowl champion only played in three games last season before being waived by the Miami Dolphins.

With training camps underway across the NFL, the former All-Pro defensive end has not filed retirement papers and is reportedly still looking for a job.

The former Bucs defensive end made an odd, but interesting post on his official X account.

“I know I’m a free agent,” JPP wrote, “but mark my words: whatever team I end up on, we're going to the Super Bowl, and that I do know, my spider senses tell me YES!! Watch me cook."

The last time JPP played a full season was back in 2020 with the Buccaneers en route to a Super Bowl championship. He collected 55 total tackles and 9.5 sacks that season.

In the three full seasons since, he has 59 total tackles and 5.5 sacks. His career seemingly fell off a cliff after the Super Bowl win. Since leaving Tampa Bay following the 2021 season, he has been with the Baltimore Ravens, New Orleans Saints and the Miami Dolphins.

At this point, the three-time Pro Bowler's career is probably over, or close to it ... but you can’t fault the guy for trying.
