Before Paris, the one thing missing from Stephen Curry's trophy cabinet was an Olympic gold medal. Well, that all changed after the Golden State Warriors superstar turned in an incredible performance to lead Team USA to a 98-87 victory in Saturday's final of the 2024 Olympics.

Steph dropped a team-high 24 points behind no less than eight triples to lift the Americans over Victor Wembanyama and France, who were playing on home turf. It was the type of iconic performance that deserved a gold medal once it was all said and done.

This was exactly the nature of Curry's message when he took to Instagram on Sunday to post the highlights of his latest feat.

"Yall gone get this Gold Medal Content! #nuitnuit ," Curry wrote.

As expected, Curry's post took the internet by storm. As of writing, it's gotten more than 3.6 million likes. There are also close to 23,000 comments on there, including a special message from the Warriors.

    "WORLD CHAMP!" read the statement.

The Warriors needed just two words to perfectly encapsulate Curry's latest achievement -- and there's no denying that they hit the nail on the head here.

The GOAT shooter still has around a month and a half before the Warriors' training camp officially begins, so he will have ample time to rest and recover. It's going to be back to business for the former back-to-back MVP soon, though, and you can be sure that Curry will be looking to carry the momentum of his gold-medal-winning summer to the upcoming NBA season.
