Tyrese Haliburton might've had the best tweet of the 2024 Olympics on August 10 when he posted a selfie with his gold medal captioned, "When you ain’t do nun on the group project and still get an A."

He followed it up on Tuesday, August 13 with another banger. This time the Indiana Pacers star shared a few childhood photos of himself wearing LeBron James jerseys alongside a photo of he and James showing off their gold medals in Paris.

"My mom sent me these pics this morning, life crazy lol," the 24-year-old wrote on X.

James caught wind of the photos and responded in excitement, writing "Haha! Crazy bro!!! WOW!! 🙏🏾🫡👑"

Haliburton, a two-time NBA All-Star and 20-point scorer for the Pacers, averaged a team-low 8.7 minutes and 2.7 points per game for Team USA in Paris.

In comparison, James led the star-studded roster in average minutes (24.3), rebounds (6.8), assists (8.5) and field goal percentage (66%). He finished second in points per game (14.2) only to Steph Curry (14.8).

One of the primary reasons behind Haliburton's absence in three of Team USA's six Olympic games was injury related, however.

According to ESPN's Brian Windhorst on August 11, "Haliburton was slowed in the Olympics by a minor leg injury -- Team USA didn't announce it, but he had an MRI, sources said -- and was caught in a numbers game, but he still has a future with the program."
