AUG. 13 - PAUL GEORGE REUNION - Following an offseason that saw the California native go to the Eastern Conference, the Los Angeles Clippers will host the Philadelphia 76ers at the Intuit Dome on Nov. 6, according to Chris Haynes of Bleacher Report. Paul George recently discussed his side of the story regarding the contract negotiations with the Clippers.

George cited the front office's lowballing the All-Star throughout the 2023-24 season, which ultimately led to his departure in free agency.

George played and started 263 games in five seasons for the Clippers, earning three All-Star nods during his time in Los Angeles.

AUG 13 - BRUNSON GETS GIFT FROM MAN CITY - A lot has happened for Jalen Brunson in the last month. He re-signed with the New York Knicks, he was named the 36th captain of the team, and now, he has gotten recognition from a very popular sports team in England.

Manchester City US of the Premier League posted on their social media today that they had gifted the star point guard a custom jersey, and they captioned the photo, "Mr. New York."

Manchester City is one of the best soccer teams in the world, so getting recognition from them is bound to get the Knicks more publicity and support across the pond, which is always a good thing.

AUG 12 - ANTI-CELTICS - Team USA head coach Steve Kerr got a lot of hate for benching Jayson Tatum in the two games that Team USA played against Serbia. One of the people unhappy with Kerr is Boston Celtics legend Bob Cousy, as he thinks the head coach has an agenda against the reigning NBA champions.

"When Kerr did it last week, he was in no danger of losing the game, but in this case they got down by 17 points and he's got to worry about losing the game," Cousy told the Boston Globe . "And then to not let Tatum get off the bench -- to me, there's got to be some kind of bias that he's got against the Celtics."

You would expect the best player on the best team to be played in the Olympics, but Kerr did not because he thought the Celtics star didn't fit into the lineup. Tatum will be looking to come back to the league with a vengeance and prove he should have been played.
