Capitalizing on Stephen Curry's Olympic Moment

    By Lance Roberson,

Although Stephen lacked the typical Stephen Curry magic in the first four games of the Olympic tournament, the final two matches catapulted the Golden State Warriors superstar into a vastly different basketball stratosphere during the gold medal game against France.

Curry averaged seven points in the first four matches of the Olympics. However, in a stunning turn of events, when Team USA needed the best shooter of all time, Curry converted a remarkably efficient 65 percent in three-point shooting on 26 attempts in the final two games.

Many argue that Curry's performance vs. Serbia saved Team USA, as it fell by 17 points. However, the gold medal game featured one of Curry's best shots and, undoubtedly, Olympic history.

One of the three-point shots recorded against France in the gold medal game stands out as highly challenging. Curry pulled a rabbit out of his hat by converting a three-point shot over Victor Wembanyama's eight-foot wingspan.

Aside from the physical challenges in such a scenario, the mental strength one must have to attempt such a shot speaks volumes of Curry's resolve. Curry is a four-time NBA champion and a two-time NBA MVP winner, with years worth of clutch moments.

However, winning on the international stage is a different story.

Now Curry's all-time moment is immortalized via a t-shirt for the public to cherish and wear proudly. Fanatics and the NBA Store feature the shirt to commemorate an essential piece of Olympic history and to make a few bucks.
