NBA star Victor Wembanyama recently helped France advance to the gold medal game in the Paris Olympics. While he was unsuccessful in leading his team to a gold medal victory in their home country, Wembanyama walked away with a silver medal and plenty of lessons from battles against NBA greats.

Wembanyama had the chance to face off against guys like LeBron James, Kevin Durant, and Stephen Curry, and despite that talent, he looked like the best player on the floor for much of the game.

He scored a game-high 26 points in the 98-87 loss to Team USA, shooting 11-19 from the field. The young star also added two assists and seven rebounds.

On Tuesday, a few days after the Olympic final, Wembanyama took to social media to share a recap of his Olympic experience.

While displaying a few pictures of his time at the Olympics, the San Antonio Spurs center captioned the photo with a message that should have every basketball fan shaking in their boots.

"It's just the beginning...," Wembanyama posted.

Wembanyama's message is coming from a player who just took over the Olympic final, playing against some of the greatest players that have ever lived.

He's also fresh off his first season in the NBA, where he averaged 21.4 points and 10.6 rebounds per game on his road to winning Rookie of the Year.

The 7-foot-4 star gained incredible experience at the Olympics, which should only help his upcoming reign in the NBA. At just 20 years old, Wembanyama could be considered the face of the league in just a few years.
