U.S. sprinter Quincy Wilson is really back to his old reality after the Paris Games. His first TikTok video since returning from the 2024 Olympics showed as much.

After he won gold with Team USA in the 4x400-meter relay, Wilson joked about how he can't believe that he's going back to school in just a couple of weeks. He returned to US soil on Monday, and by Tuesday, he's already doing school work.

The quick turnaround has Wilson stressed out, especially since he missed a lot of time while preparing for the Olympics. The 16-year-old Olympian poked fun at his unfortunate situation on social media, sharing a video of himself agonizing as he tries to catch up with his school reading.

"POV - reading my summer reading books late because I was at the Olympics," Wilson wrote on the video along with two broken heart emojis. For those unaware, the teenage star attends Bullis School in Maryland.

While it's quite unfortunate for Quincy Wilson to cram his reading work in just a few days, perhaps his school and teachers will show him some understanding since he's coming from bringing pride to the nation.

Wilson didn't participate in the final of the 4x400 relay at the Olympics, but he did run in the qualifying round along with with Vernon Norwood, Bryce Deadmon and Christopher Bailey.

Team USA eventually bagged the gold in the final of the relay, clocking an Olympic-record time of 2:54.43. As a result, Wilson became the youngest male Olympic track and field athlete to win a gold medal in US history.

That said, Wilson will likely be celebrated once he returns to school.
