With half of her rookie campaign already in the books, it would be safe to say that Caitlin Clark is the real deal. The Indiana Fever rookie sensation came into the WNBA with massive expectations on her shoulders. Over the first few months of her career, she's vastly exceeded said expectations -- and then some.

Right now, the 22-year-old is considered by many as the frontrunner for the Rookie of the Year race behind averages of 17.1 points on 40.5 percent shooting, 5.8 rebounds, a league-leading 8.2 assists, and 1.5 steals, while also knocking down 2.7 triples per game on a 32.7-percent clip.

If you ask the Fever, though, they are adamant that Clark is just getting started.

In a recent video posted on X, formerly Twitter, the Fever took a deep dive into Clark's rise during the first half of the season. In one part of the seven-minute video, the team explained why they believe the rest of the league better be worried about what's to come from the former Iowa superstar.

"Here's the scary thing: it's completely unclear where her ceiling is," the narrator of the video said. "She's improved dramatically in her brief WNBA career. In the month of May, Caitlin Clark averaged 6.6 assists per game. In June, she upped that to 7.2 assists per game. Then in July, before the break hit, a stunning 12.5 assists per game.

"And that's also without mentioning the fact that these Fever players have played together for just over two months. The chemistry on offense is growing -- and quickly. But this young Fever team is still figuring each other out and despite that, some of the offensive performances have been eye-popping."

If you put it that way, then it's hard to argue that Clark's rapid rise should indeed strike fear into the hearts of her opponents.

Right before the break, the 6-foot guard set the WNBA record for the most assists in a single game after she dropped a mind-blowing 19 dimes against the Dallas Wings on July 17.

This was just one of multiple records Clark set during the first half of her debut season and at this point, all signs are pointing to the notion that there's many more to come from this young lady.
